WHY RYAN SIGNED UP TO BECOME AN ICI MEMBER

Ryan Ginty was one of the first to have signed up as a Institute of Civil Infrastruture Member.

Last year NDEA Operations Manager Ryan Ginty made a huge move, swapping an eight-year career with the Royal Australian Air Force for civil construction.

Where before Ryan – as a Flight Lieutenant - was co-ordinating between maintenance crews and pilots, now he co-ordinates crews of up to 15 workers and plant.

The 32-year-old of Vineyard has joined up as an ICI Entrant after it opened for business on November 9.

“I am keen to develop my management skills and ICI offers that,” Ryan said.  “This will build on what I have already learned in my new job.
