Commenting on his appointment, Lee said: “There’s never been a more critical time for professional learning and upskilling within the civil industry with a forecasted infrastructure workforce deficit of 43.4 percent over the next few years. I’m excited to be joining the team during this period of change and growth where I can utilise my skillset to deliver better value for both our employers to improve management standards and among individuals looking to upskill and accelerate their career progression.” ICI kicks off 2022 not only with a new General Manager, but with a reinvigorated course list. In order to ensure the learning program consistently meets current industry needs and aligns with demand, many of ICI’s courses have been refreshed with new learning material, while a number of course additions are also to be made. Further details on the revitalised program will be shared shortly. “Fine-tuning our offerings ensures we can continue to provide a program tailored to leading hands, first-time supervisors and engineering graduates, right through to the most experienced managers and leaders across the civil construction and maintenance industry,” said Lee.
