12 December 2022 in review December 12, 2022By ICI Administrator Aspire 0 It’s been a fantastic run-up to the end of the year for ICI – though it is approaching quicker than we would like! ICI was created by CCF as a solution to a clear need across Australia – for civil-specific targeted, short, and low-cost professional development for leading hands to CEOs. We provide the tools you need to attract, build and retain your teams, focusing on learning pathways, personal recognition and upskilling. We are proud of our achievements and projects for the year, which were all to support you and your teams in your professional development, no matter where you are on your career journey. We are excited for 2023! Here’s some of what happened in 2022: Employer Recognition Program – giving your organisation the recognition it deserves for investing in staff development. We give you the tools to brand yourself as an ‘Employer of Choice’. Employers’ Portal – to book Learning Courses, Learning Conferences and Learning Events for your employees. Whether you are an organisation owner, training manager or project manager, the Portal provides an easy interface for a no-fuss booking process. Expanded Learning Pathways – Dedicated pathways for all the roles in your organisation, from our Leading Hand Accelerator to our Senior Manager program – all designed for the civil industry. New Presenters – Increasing course numbers means new Presenters. We’ve introduced some fantastic new Presenters, all with first-hand knowledge of our industry. Courses – Driven by the industry, we’ve updated our courses to ensure they are current, timely and relevant. This is an ongoing process for all of our technical, business and operations, and people management courses. Events – Expanding our calendar of events, we hosted tours of the new Martin Place Metro, as well as the Western Sydney International Airport. Expect more in 2023! People Awards 2022 – ICI proudly awarded the Performance Excellence Award for Continuing Professional Development to Daniel Mezger from Cherrie Civil Engineering and Leo Wu from Haslin Constructions. We looking forward to recognising the nominees and winners for 2023. Victorian Engineers Registration – In many regions of Australia, it is now compulsory for certain types of Engineers to be registered in Australia. ICI is now a recognised Assessment entity for Victoria – do you need to be registered with the BLA? Networking opportunities – With more Members now than ever across all States and Territories of Australia, you’ll be able to connect with others during a virtual course, or at an Event, and share your knowledge and experiences. See our list of courses for 2023. Keystone Funding – Civil Contractors in Tasmania can now access courses from the Institute of Civil Infrastructure courses using Keystone Tasmania funding. With more than 70 short courses on offer and up to 100% funding available, find courses that are right for you. The team at ICI would like to thank you for your ongoing support in 2022, and we take this opportunity to wish you a Merry Christmas, and successful and safe 2023.
